State reports were reviewed. |

The board discussed and agreed to move forward with the Region 1 R & P as well as event handbooks to |
||||||||||
|
assist in the running of the regional events. It was agreed that Region 1 needs to improve our standing |
|||||||||||
|
at national championships. Ideas on how we might improve our Regional Teams were discussed and some |
|||||||||||
|
new ideas will be presented at our next board meeting. Some of these ideas offer a radical change in how |
|||||||||||
|
select and treat our regional teams. |
